If you worry about starting fires in your fireplace or a campground grill, this is the perfect solution! If you worry about your elderly parents or grandparents starting their fireplaces safely, this is the perfect solution!
Homemade from Cedar, Pine, and Paraffin, this firestarter is simple to use. You simply build the fire around it and then light the wick. Approximately 5 minutes later, you have a rip roaring fire without the use of newspaper, kindling, fatwood, etc.
NO MORE NEWSPAPERS OR KINDLING LAYING AROUND!!!
These firestarters measure approximately 2 inches across by 1/2 inch thick. While easy to use, common sense dictates that caution should be exercised as these little fire starters are made with one purpose in mind: to start a hot, rip roaring fire quickly. Definite caution and supervision should be used if children are permitted to participate in firemaking.

Thank You CricketLady! Our family has been making them for a couple years. It started when our youngest son was chosen to be a Student Ambassador by the People To People program started by Eisenhower. Even though the students are chosen to represent the USA internationally, their families still have to pony up the money for their child to travel overseas. This was just one of the ideas we came up with. Now the money is used to fund Chess Tournaments and other academic pursuits by our only child still at home (he's 15 and Gifted, so his academic pursuits can be very costly). I will be listing the other goodies we make as fundraisers in the next 2 weeks. The ones my son makes for his Christmas money (he has his first girlfriend now) are coming up later this week!!!
