eBay to Pull Plug on Old Search in April

eBay will retire its old search technology in April 2009, it told users on Thursday. Last year it introduced new search technology designed to make it faster and easier for shoppers to find what they were looking for, including an auto-complete feature that "anticipates" what you're typing in the search box.
According to the announcement, while the vast majority of eBay users are using the new search engine, 90 percent of buyers and sellers had been able to opt out of using it.
eBay also said it would expand its practice of using product details (formerly known as "pre-filled item information") in listings and said using them is one of the best ways to boost exposure in the new search.

hahahaha

Looks like they're trying pretty hard to keep their customers. Almost too hard, eh Mom?

By the way, after telling them how EASY it was to get on the affiliate program for OLA, and asking why it was so much harder for eBay, and that I was declined without reason, I am now a member of the EPN!

They also had me take a survey after receiving word from them that they would re-submit due to my questions about why I was declined, and I gave the guy good ratings, and the website poor ratings for search difficulty, and also for not meeting my expectations. LOL why am I part of this network again?!

Just kidding, Mom, we both know why. Check out the new banner on the bottom of my homepage!!!
